As a China transformer substation supplier, the Chinese box type transformer substation we produced is different from American and European box type transformer substations.

American Substation Structural Features
This compact substation has a front–rear cabinet design. The front part includes the HV/LV operation area with HV terminals, load break switch, tap changer, plug-in fuses, pressure relief valve, oil thermometer, and drain valve.
The LV section can provide easy cable connection.
The rear part is the oil tank. The transformer core, windings, HV load switch, and protection fuses are all inside the tank for safe and reliable operation.

Performance Characteristics
1. Small size and compact structure, only about P/3 of the same capacity European-style box change;
2. Fully sealed, fully insulated, no insulation distance, and reliable personal safety;
3. It can be used in the ring network and can be used in the terminal. The conversion is very convenient and the reliability of the power supply is improved;
4. Low loss, lower than domestic S9 type transformer loss;
5. The cable connector can operate 200A load current, can be used as load switch in emergency situations, and has the characteristics of isolation switch; double fuse protection, reducing operating costs.
The fuse of the plug-in fuse is a double-sensitive fuse (temperature, current); ▲/Y is used. The connection method and the three-phase column structure have the advantages of high voltage quality, no drift of the neutral point, no heat generation of the cabinet, low noise, and good lightning protection.
