OMEK Power’s 500 kVA transformer is designed as oil filled and pad-mounted installation in outdoors. It adopts tamper-proof and split cabin layout design.
This 500 kVA pad-mounted transformer delivers stable, low-carbon, reliable power delivery for global projects.
It is manufactured in OMEK Power’s standardized workshops in China that are under full ISO-9001 quality control. Each unit undergoes strict routine tests complying with ANSI C.57, IEEE, DOE, UL certification.

High Voltage Compartment
The high-voltage compartment uses fully sealed, fully insulated gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), ensuring safe insulation, waterproofing, and protection against electric shock.
It consists of 3 sections – incoming feeder, metering, and outgoing feeder.
Transformer Part
The transformer model is S22 500 kVA 3 phase oil-immersed transformer, protected by load switches and fuses.
Low Voltage Compartment
The low-voltage compartment includes one low-voltage incoming cabinet, one outgoing cabinet, and one capacitor compensation cabinet.
The capacitor compensation employs intelligent capacitors, and it can automatically adjust for optimal compensation performance.
The number of outgoing circuits can be customized according to your requirements.
Enclosure
The overall enclosure is made of cold-rolled steel sheet, coated with powder paint in Bell Green.

High-voltage circuits can be customized with dual power inputs, multiple high-voltage outputs, and bidirectional high-voltage metering.
Low-voltage output circuits can be increased or decreased as needed. It can meet diverse application requirements.
In addition to its landscape-friendly feature, the 500 kVA pad mount transformer can be filled with biodegradable natural ester insulating fluid, which is biodegradable.

First, let’s look at the core component of the 500 kVA pad-mounted transformer, the transformer part. If the material is aluminum, the transformer is approximately over ten thousand yuan, but if it is copper, it is nearly 40,000 yuan.
